One mistake would be talking a lot about yourself or just talking a lot in general. I've heard a lot of women say, "Boy, he just didn't ask any questions about me. There wasn't any room for me to contribute. He just talked and talked and talked." That's really boring for anybody.

I'm gonna put right next to that someone who doesn't talk at all or doesn't share at all and is kind of just expecting the other person to carry the whole conversation. So it needs to be—you need to be good at talking and sharing. You need to also be good at listening and asking questions.

And through that exchange back and forth, you hopefully get to a place where there's a natural flow that breaks out and you don't even remember what question was asked originally. One thing led to another, led to another, and that's because both people are contributing and both people are listening and asking to get back from the other side. And when you have that exchange going, that's where you start to get to a good place.
